Back to the office five days a week a must for Singapore Grab staff from Dec 2

SINGAPORE, Oct 25 — Regional tech firm Grab has announced that its Singapore employees will be required to work five days a week in the office starting December 2, in a shift away from hybrid work practices following the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

But Tan also reportedly assured employees that those facing urgent personal situations could request to work from home or offsite.

sure work from home is an option worker will favour.

but fact is office has it's role. if office not needed how did it appear naturally.

some trade can. most trade cannot. moons ago when webex appear i though travel to off location will die.
but it did not. it is not the same to be in person on site versus over video. via video image can complement travel.

in person is always best. another thing to watch is those not in office will eventually be under check if the role is needed. or can it be replaced from overseas since it is off office.
