Print $$$ is very easy. Fed has the controlling power but tightening will be very difficult. Fed has limited controlling power, this is why even with current rate hike, Fed also cant bring down inflation figure.

These reporters were born after 1980s Rotfl

In 1980 the US Fed jackedup the discount rate to 14.5%.

Paul Volcker was Chairman of the FED and a Republican President.

If you have learned I Ching like me, you will not blindly take the figure of 9.1% as current US inflation. These 40 years, there will be lot of human manipulation. I dont trust current inflation figure.

Volcker was a good man(倒霉蛋) who took all the blames by spiking the rate in order to reset the US economy back to fundamental.

Even 100 basis point hike won’t help, next month they should try 200 basis point hike….heard Facebook, Microsoft and many American firms start retrenching people globally.

Someone said before the higher the unemployment the lower the inflation rate. Maybe massive job loss can help the U.S. economy.
