Fewer people took part in SkillsFuture training programmes in 2023, new figures show

Figures from SSG showed that about 520,000 people participated in SSG-supported training programmes in 2023, down from 560,000 in 2022.

All SkillsFuture training programmes achieve is to prepare workers for a future of unemployment and underemployment.

Sg is still a "hard working" based economy.
Many have to on standby on emergency calls, even govt expect their outsource vendors 
to do the same and they expect people got time to go for training.

The most cert people are more often from the govt sector. 

Govt will need to rethink how to go forward.
