Most likely he already seek approval from Pinky before acting. The extra months could be ho jinx's idea. She didn't get any free tickets. 😆

It is a very good decision if executed by means of Justice and Integrity.
Thumb up for the judge!👍

If is due to coming election motive then its a letdown.
Nevertheless hope we have more such judge appointed to bring back order to the court and society.

why no PAP MP went to support him ?

no more friendship or brotherhood with him once he made mistakes ?

why PAP people are so realistic, unsympathetic and cruel ?

After serving, better migrate la. No future for him or his children liao or anyone connected to him.

The biggest lie that 99% of Singaporeans tell themselves is that one day they’ll be part of the wealthy 1%.

For this reason, there’ll never be a revolution in Singapore, no matter how evil their rulers are or how unjust their country is.

The eyes of the world are already focused on the outcome since Iswaran already got off the hook on the corruption charge. Any sentence of less than 8 months would have been seen as a mere slap on the risk of a dishonest PAP minister.

Davinder Singh is like all our ruling party politicians - overrated, overhyped and most certainly overpaid.

He is a minister which is very high post so punishment must also equivalent.   N tarnish country reputation la. Judge said he's not remorseful.

Prosecutor asked for 6/7 months.
Defence asked for not more than 8 weeks.
Judge gave him only 1 year.
obstruction of justice is a very serious offence, and can be jailed for up to 7 years,
he was damn lucky, and should be feeling very happy now.
a game well played for all involved.
