Let the public determine the costs of a cup of coffee. Not the landlord nor the operators. If everyone dont buy the operator will lose money and close shop. The landlord will not have any operators and will eventually close shop too. Greedy landlords. Teach them a lesson.

Unfortunately, most customers are creatures of habit who continue to patronise the same stalls regardless of the constant price hikes and shrinking portions.

this is common practice but NTUC never pay rental due to Union Requirements

Thus, they have a HUGE savings on top of other supermarkets

A fishball noodle stall stated $3.50 so I ordered kway teow soup lah!  Then I saw only 2 fishballs and 3 thin slices of fishcakes lah! The stall owner said complain to Ong Ye Kung lah! He said must sell cheaper mah!

This is a pathetic looking Bak Chor Mee from Ghim Moh Hawker Centre which qualifies as Mee Kosong priced at $4.

Stall operator referring to the hawker who operate the stall? Or the operator who leased entire coffeeshop from the landlord, and then sublease out to stall tenant?

In a hawker centre, a stall owner owns a stall and is also a hawker lah!  A stall holder only holds the stall lah!
