I have bad news for Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania: They may be next on Vladimir Putin’s list of countries to attack.

I also have incontrovertible evidence. On March 28, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said the following: “Russia cannot and does not want to think about directing its forces into a NATO country.”

Most people would interpret his assertion as a declaration of peaceful intentions. But that’s only because they don’t appreciate that Peskov never tells the truth. In fact, no Russian policymaker or propagandist can be expected to be truthful. And that includes Putin as well as all his ministers, diplomats and apologists.
