Need but those who say no need help are the young people who has not aged yet, so they dont know what old aged people are going through. wait until they are 80 or more, then they will know

Is it an immigrant mindset?  Everything the gahmen wants us to do is by always by deterrent, fine this and fine that. Gentle persuasion does not work.

Other western countries their people will throw trash in the bins voluntarily but here need to impose fines for litterbugs.

Is it because we still have residual genes of our forefathers? Big Grin

If PAP can legislate tray return into a crime why they can't make it mandantory for food court or hawker centre to employ minimum one cleaner for every five tables?
Are they protecting NTUC which owns the largest food centre?

Elderly can maybe wear a tag (issued by govt) in front to excuse them from returning tray? It is same as MRT reserved seat they issue some pass to those in need and the person can show the pass and ask nicely for the reserved seat?
