They don't serve never mind, they disallow you from drinking the bottled water that you brought along.

I went to Japan

restaurants serve my green tea

and I still get free cup of water

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

It's only via mandatory regulations from the authorities that the serving of plain water can be effected. 

Otherwise,  wait another 50 or 100 years it will still be  "buy" bottled water at eateries. 

Another option is to allow diners to bring their own potable water. Some people for health reasons can only drink plain water. 

Japan, Korea  etc have been serving free water all these years.

High time for a change!!!!

Can drink tap water from their toilet mah
