From the negligence in FW dormitories, the Changi airport cluster, allowing Indians to enter SG when the pandemic was erupting in India, the current KTV and fish port clusters, all at no fault of the obedient citizens. If you are not fuming mad, I definitely am.
In a situation like this, no one will have the right mind to celebrate (NDP).
On Singapore’s population size and the scale of things, we ought to be embarrassed and ashamed of ourselves the repeated failures to contain the pandemic.
Compare that with Hong Kong where they managed to achieve zero local community cases for more than a month (38 days to be exact), we need to bury our heads. It is not only disgraceful but deplorable. Hence, how can our country (or our government rather) still hold our heads high and celebrate, oblivious to the plight we (struggling citizens) are in and the shame we have brought upon ourselves.
As the saying goes, there are few things more dangerous than a mixture of power, arrogance and incompetence.
Speechless!
