G7 agriculture ministers have criticized India's decision to ban wheat exports. According to Cem Özdemir, they are in favor of open markets and want to monitor production and food prices more closely in future.

On the world market, the export ban is likely to drive up prices further, since millions of tons of wheat are missing there due to the Ukraine war and the resulting lack of deliveries from the Black Sea region.

I don't understand why G7 now blame and threaten 3rd World Countries when the Ukraine crisis is largely brought about by the Europeans who in turn got screwed by their Big Brother US...Remember these 7 countries are some of the wealthiest nations on Earth and yet they cannot make their own food ? Oh COM'on !   Let's ask what each members can provide....

1. Canadian can have polar bear or seal meat
   
2. French has french fries
   
3. Germans has beer and sausages
   
4. Italian can provide pizza and spegatees
   
5. Jap with their sushi and whale meat
   
6. Brit with their fish & chips
   
7. And Americans with their upsized cokes and super-large hamburgers well-done with antibiotic-tinted beef...
