I have a pre-existing condition and wanted to buy medical insurance from Income but was rejected. I bought the insurance from SingLife/Aviva. That was about 8 years ago. Not sure how many workers can benefit from NTUC having owned INCOME insurance. If Income Insurance is no more benefiting the workers,  then a change in business model will b necessary as it has lost its original objectives.

True. NTUC is a trade union. They should look only at the workers’ benefit. Their original aim of setting up companies like NTUC enterprises/NTUC FairPrice/Income insurance must be to benefit the union or the workers. If the companies r not benefiting the workers, best is to divest.
