The third Corona-Piks in Germany is currently being offered to older people and other risk groups in some federal states if their first vaccinations were at least six months ago.

Three days after a Corona booster vaccination in a care facility in Oberhausen, resuscitation measures had to be carried out on three residents in the past week. One of the three people died, the other two are in stable condition, said a spokesman for the North Rhine Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians on Tuesday. The deceased had previously received palliative care.

It is unclear whether there is a connection with the vaccination in the three cases.
