Gov cannot track you with GPS, but can trace ur location using your mobile signal.
Different tech, different use.

Mobile network don't rely on satellite signals, unlike GPS.
That is why your GPS won't work in tunnels but still can make cell calls.

SG BUTT TALK about never know why GPS already invented so long as mention is for GOVT usage. In Army,
In return this is why Govt can track u if they want
and this is why those " bad guys " always dump their phone even beside throw away their sim card. Some even don't use any tech
