GR2025 : This is what PAP will do with a strong mandate if given one!
#1

I dont see the PAP acknowledging the challenges faced by Singaporeans neither  did they commit themselves to solving  major problems faced by Singaporeans. So what is the mandate for?

They are asking for a mandate to continue the PAP approach and double down on the current policies.

The centrepiece of the PAP approach is to bring in foreigners to artificially grow the economy. The population density of Singapore is already highest in the world - more than double that of shanghai. But the PAP remains committed to the strategy wth elites saying   hosting a population of 10M on our small island will be good for us

You decide for yourself if overcrowding is good for you. If you are a property agent or a property tycoon, i am sure you will welcome the PAP plan and approach.

But as an ordinary citizen is this really what you want?

For the millions of elderly who aare retired or near retirement and have limited earning ability their desire is for cost of living to go down so that life can be less of a struggle. Does the PAP address their concerns?

For the working class Singaooreans, they want better job opportunities and not have it taken away when companies choose to hire non Singaooreans.

For all the normal human beings living in Singaoore we want an environment that is less stressful and less overcrowded so that we can maintain our mental health.

There is alot of talk by the PAP but the main thing they are selling is very easy to understand;

1. Grow the economy artificially by importing foreigners.
2. Whatever problems that comes wiith a growing population  pass it to ordinary Singaporeans to cope with it.
3. If the struggle becomes too hard, hand out some vouchers and assistance  to ease the pain.

The PAP is asking for a strong mandate to continue with the above PAP plan.

I prefer a complete stop be put to it and a new course to be charted. The PAP through fear mongering, gerrymandering  and temporary carrots is certain to secure majority of the seats. But they have to be denied a strong mandate to stop them from accelerating  their plan. It is already devastating for singaporeans who now  struggling to cope

I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Strong or weak mandate, they will still bulldoze their own policies without proper discussion.  It just makes their Group Think easier to go through without us in the formula where they can happily move on and feign ignorance.  Their request for mandate is an arrogant plea and nothing else , believing this motherhood statement is not for a mature political environment Singapore needs.

My view is PAP policies are bad and does not benefit Singaporeans. This is self evident in the increasing cost spirals that cause Singaooreans  have a decline in quality of life.

I do not hate the PAP despite them being out of touch leaders who live in Ivory towers.

There will come a time when they don't give out CDC vouchers anymore. And we will have to face the full brunt of the price increase. Strong mandate to show that citizens will swallow whatever they shove down our throats?

Inflation and GST has little or no impact on the majority of Singaporean who has a job with CPF

Retirees with no income, majority has more than enough savings to pay for rising food prices for the rest of their lives

Retirees with no savings, no kids to support them can seek help from PAP's Comcare and get free meals as well

You kept harping about rising cost of living but you still enjoy your life without a job, thanks to PAP

You pay no rent, rising property prices doesn't affect you as you get to inherit your mama's hdb flat, again thanks to PAP

Your claimed that PAP policies does not benefit Singaporeans is utter nonsense

PAP policies have ENRICHED all Singaporeans who have a home, be it HDB or private property, over the past 65 years since PAP came into power

Singaporeans who wants a job can have a job with CPF, lucrative PHV driver and food delivery platform jobs exclusive for Singaporeans, thanks to PAP

Ordinary Singaporeans have the equal opportunity to become overnight MILLIONAIRES thanks to PAP's enbloc and HDB policies, see proof below

All Singaporeans who are willing to work until PAP's retirement age holding jobs with CPF contributions will have at least $1M in their CPF, no bullshit just do the maths

Even jobless jac, retrenched at age 42, unemployed after that, wife left him after his divorce, made a bankrupt when he defaulted on a bank loan, broke/broken at age 45

Can rise from his bankrupcy ashes to rebuild his life here, thanks to PAP and can boast of his MILLION $$$ CPF statements here for years to irritate the PAP & CPF haters here

Those born poor Singaporeans who are born smart and hardworking, like Shanmugam & tan cheng bock

Who are willing to serve other Singaporeans in the government with PAP and climb the social and political ladder

Get to enjoy their later years living in luxurious bungalow that have risen in value, thanks to PAP immigration policies

Are you aware rising food prices benefits Singaporeans who depends on their hawker stall for a living?

CDC vouchers too, a brilliant idea from PAP to help hawkers

Singaporeans must accept high food prices due to inflation and be HAPPY for those Singaporeans who are hawkers

Take a look at my lunch yesterday and today, nasi lemak $7, duck rice $4.50, sambal fish $2.50, expensive compared to before Covid19

But if you have a job with cpf, you will have annual increments or you can switch jobs for higher income to buy SembMarine or Alibaba to sell at higher prices

Do not be selfish and whine about more expensive meals and blame PAP when your life has not gotten better the last 15 years

PAP is stupid or what.

the whole world knows that high cost of living is inversely proportional to govt mandate.

when cost of living is high, the govt mandate will be low. no brainer.

it is like when the cost of something is doubled, there will be fewer buyers.

nothing is free and mandate is not free.
