1% increase in GST result in 12% increase in price!

Has been going on whenever miw announce gst increase. In theory gst is collected by govt so merchant should increase their products and services by that and give to govt. But merchant seem to take advantage of this and add more than that

Someone in other forum inform why when they sell it is above 1% is becuz when they order stock from supplier the supplier increase 1% and this can go through a few layer each one increase 1% hence when it finally reach them the product has increased much more than 1% so they cannot absorb and pass to consumer. No thanks to miw gst increase
