Shocking is the complaint by Doctors Without Borders (MSF) that a surgeon, a member of the organization, was shot and wounded by a sniper while inside the al-Awda hospital in northern Gaza.

MSF said the hospital was under sniper attack and that five medical staff had been killed since October 7, including two doctors who died while caring for patients.

"The targeting of medical workers as they care for their patients is absolutely reprehensible, absolutely inhumane" Israeli forces have placed the hospital under full siege since December 5, Doctors Without Borders said.

As I have said so much earlier WW2 Japanese snipers target medical staff too. Reason is very simple. A doctor can save so many wounded and nurse them back to health and then go battle again. So they pose a threat and must be eliminated although it is against Geneva conventions. But in this case the doctor in hospital maybe treating civilian instead. But IDF can counter back that civilian is Hamas in disguise or the child next time grow up will join Hamas to justify their shooting.

What Hamas can do is IDF do first day, you all do fifteen day lor. Tit-for-tat retaliation action back to back.
