Gen. Prayut respects the results of the Constitutional Court in all respects and will stop performing duties as Prime Minister from today onwards until the Constitutional Court has a decision.

August 24, 2022 Mr. Anucha Burachaisri Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs Acting as a spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office revealed that according to the Constitutional Court's request for an 8-year term of office of the Prime Minister and has a majority vote for General Prayut Chan-ocha to stop performing duties From 24 Aug. 65 until the court decides that Gen. 


Prayut Chan-ocha respects the results of the Constitutional Court in all respects. 

The Prime Minister's duties will be suspended from today until the Constitutional Court has a decision. He will continue to perform his duties as Minister of Defense as usual. In the meantime, Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan will act on his behalf. and perform duties with the Cabinet without any impact on the administration of the country and the performance of government officials or other government policies
