First time a power failure occured in pilotage water. Something very smelly and the result of the investigation should be interesting.
Normally modern ships have at least two generators and two main engines and a power failure in pilotage waters is almost impossible unless this ship has only one main engine or one generator operational on that fateful day??

Pilots idea is good however ship momentum is too strong.
