Ursula von der Leyen, president of the EU Commission, said on Monday that the European Commission's proposals aimed at combating rising energy prices, which are planned to be presented soon, aim to limit the price of Russian gas delivered to Europe via pipelines.
In her Twitter message, Von der Leyen announced that the planned proposals of the European Commission also aim to reduce electricity demand and use tax revenues from energy companies to support vulnerable consumers and businesses.

Sounds like EU energy situation s getting bad to worst to utter desperation as colder seasons approaches..
I find it glaringly strange, if not laughable to see one of the richest community on Earth now asking "3rd World" countries like India and China to gang up on Russia which has been selling oil at 20% below market rate...

I am not sure both Russia and China share same view about Europe..But what many knows is this Winter will be testing time for all EU members...
