Apart from that, the Hessen frigate also carried a team consisting of two Sea Lynk helicopters, a medical team, and a chaplain.

According to the ministry, the 142-meter-long ship is equipped with anti-aircraft missiles.

If launched, the missile is capable of reaching targets more than 160 kilometers away.

There is also a radar surveillance system on the ship capable of tracking 1,000 targets simultaneously.
