I found the scammer's method to scam victims on this website

1. TikTok Job Scam
This is the most recent one that is also one of the lamest. A random chiobu will suddenly message you on Telegram to ask if you are interested in a part-time job where the company is hiring social media online assistant to help like TikTok videos. If yes, they will get you to provide your name and Whatsapp number so someone else will contact you via Whatsapp. Thereafter, another chiobu will text you on Whatsapp and that is where the scam begins. She will ask you a series of questions to make it seem legitimate and get you to provide your name, age, occupation and phone number. After that, she will explain the company is a online promotion company in Singapore that help like products and videos to increase the attention and exposure on major online platform (basically a tonne of ********).

Next, you will be added to a new Whatsapp group with other victims usually where they will post task for you to do e.g. Like a Tiktok video, and you will get paid $2 instantly via PayNow. Members are then asked to post their transaction screenshot and say thank you in the group chat to make it look super enticing. Some of the members are their own people where they will ask how to earn more. The telltale signs is that their Whatsapp accounts are usually business accounts, and their profile pictures are all pixelated (probably screenshot from other victims).

After getting paid, you will have to wait for a new task. Maybe another task and you get paid another $2. The ultimatum comes when they say if you want to get double reward and task, you would need to top up $100 to do a new task and get paid $130 back afterwards (too good to be true? then yes it's a scam). Their own people will then pretend to be interested and send screenshot of them transferring money over and getting paid instantly, in hopes that others will follow suit. If you are dumb enough to pay $100, you will get added into the "premium group" where the scam continues and the rewards are even higher. If you haven't, the admin will say the group will now be closed and disbanded because the tasks have been completed.

Well, if you did the liking of the video, you practically already earn $2-4 for you to buy a drink. How lame. But my advice is not to even engage with this. Your number will probably be stored in some database so they can continue to send you enticing scam messages in future to try to scam you again.
