Just heard from traders online.
On 4th July they push down China banks stocks sharply by releasing their downgrade report on ex dividend day for major China banks. ICBC fell 10% in one day because it went ex dividend and marketvpanic due to downgrade.
On the same day their traders put in buy orders to get in at the bottom.
It was a great trade for Goldman.

Now then sgbutt know meh. This is common tactic used by banks all along. Just go contrary to their advice and you won't go wrong.
