Victorian government purposely builds so many HDB blocks in expensive areas such as Toorak, Hawthorn, Brighton and Camberwell etc, which makes property owners there very angry as they dunt like to live near HDB blocks due to safety concerns. It will also cause property prices in these expensive areas to drop lower after HDBs are built.

Therefore the politicians now have to do firefighting by slashing annual immigration quota & international students intake and building tens of thousands of HDB blocks to ease the pain so that young people can afford buying or renting a living space.

In Melbourne, tenants only pay rent A$150 per month for 3 rooms comes with long bath and free water supply. Tenants only pay electricity.

Visitors needed to register and its closely monitored under 24/7 by security guards .
