look like there are many unemployed graduates around.
mom talked so much about the abundant jobs market but in the end, come up with a very desperate move - Govt funded traineeships. WTF. 🤬🤬🤬
the worst part was these traineeships pay only $1.8k-$2.4k lasting between only 3-6 months. 😡 look like their salary are much lower many work permits holders.

Questions
Theme 1
- What exactly is meant by "focused rollout"? How does this differ from previous initiatives announced as broad or open to all qualified graduates?
- Could you give a concrete example of how the 800 places will be distributed among applicants or institutions?
Theme 2
- What assumptions are being made in limiting the initial run to 800 places? Why not a larger or scalable entry point, given past traineeships?
- You seem to be assuming the “up to 800 places” will be sufficient. What if demand far exceeds supply?
Theme 3
- What evidence or rationale supports the chosen number of traineeships (800)? Is there data on graduate unemployment, company interest, or budget allocation?
- Why do you think scaling up is only tied to worsened economic conditions, not to initial demand/success?
Theme 4
- What are the anticipated consequences if many qualified graduates miss out on traineeships due to the limited slots?
- How might this "focused rollout" impact social equity, especially for graduates from different backgrounds or schools[2][3]?
Theme 5
- How would other stakeholders (universities, companies, graduates) interpret this announcement differently?
- Is there a better way to address graduate unemployment that hasn't been considered here?
Theme 6
- What is the **minimum allowance** provided to trainees? Is there a figure the government or hosting organizations can guarantee?
- For a graduate who is not selected, what practical alternatives does the government offer, and how do they compare to traineeships?
- What measurable outcomes will signal that the traineeship program is a success or needs expansion?
- Can the government provide a direct pathway from traineeship to full-time employment, or is the commitment only for training?
- On what date will applicants be able to start applying, and where can they find published eligibility requirements?
- How will places be allocated fairly, and who makes the selection decisions for each slot?
