Giving people money is not the best approach because the prices will go up further to offset the money people receive. In the west every time government gave some cash like 10-20k to help young people for buying first homes the developers increased property price by $20k or more.
The best is to control the retailers or businesses for increasing prices for maximising profits, setting a criteria like max 10% per year. If not the prices can go up rapidly like 20-30% per year, giving people $200 cash doesn’t help at all.

Just a quick fix, not sustainable long term. Need to tame price increases urgently instead!
