The total number of confirmed dead so far is 57. According to the latest reports from the Hellenic Army Headquarters, there are also two samples of biological material provided by relatives, which do not match those of the dead. It is possible that this may slightly vary the final number of victims, but the procedures of the laboratory investigation have not yet been completed, as another sample was sent from the site of the accident by the Fire Department.
