HDB will sell higher & higher. Once a benchmark is set, owners will ask for nothing less or comparable. How to come down ?

Buyers of HDB flats have only purchased a 99-year-lease or what remains on it, so they have to make hay while the sun shines since they are sitting on a depreciating asset much like the car which has only a 10-year-lifespan.

HDB people are low SES. The Taoism ritual has blasting radio, tong- tong- Qiang and also chanting using loud speaker. HDB allow such selfish people to book the open space for personal event without any noise control.

This is why every young couple wishes to join the group called "HDB upgraders".

If yr lh condo is more than 20yrs, many things are breaking down and needs to repair/replace. In fact, the best time to sell it is at around 15/18 yrs, especially if there is no mrt/market/mall/sch nearby

There are many MRT stations along Bukit Timah and Dunearn Road along with reputable schools, shopping malls and a wet market in the vicinity. My 20-year-old condo is on a 999-year-lease so not to worry; it has great en bloc potential.

When private healthcare prices shoot up, the people will say it is only for the rich, we will visit the polyclinics and public hospitals. However, when the price of public health services rises, the sick will have nowhere to turn to.

The problem is with PAP's Hypocritical culture of replacing 5Cs with new 5Cs
Good doctors and nurses will move into the private
so the lousy cheap doctors will remain in public hospitals and polyclinic
Even CECA told me they will never go to Polyclinic

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

HDB resale market is experiencing increased activity, with recent transactions achieving new all-time high (ATH) prices in the towns.
Ya lehh...folks got plan arhh. In Queenstown, 90 Dawson Road recently set a new record for the area by selling a 4-room flat. The flat, located between the 34th and 36th floors, spans 1022.57 sqft and was sold for S$1,380,000.

The management helps fix things but residents got to pay for the things and the management's salaries mah. Every 6 yrs or so they must repaint the buildings as required by govt. That's why you dun see rundown condos with old paint like in other countries
