Ant group as a financial holding company is bad news for Ant. No more uncontrolled and rampant growth at zero or negative reserve ratio

This is what the Chinese government has insisted for years, but resisted by Ant.

That is a good point but minimally if they just keep Alipay payment system with1B users is is not a normal e bank. 


It is not clear what kind of regulation will have to endure.. also valuation is lower that a yr ago.
