Half of Gazprom customers opened a ruble account to pay for Russian gas
#1

Of the fifty or so foreign companies that have a gas supply contract with the Russian giant Gazprom, about half have an account in roubles.

Russia imposes the payment of its gas exports in its currency.

Countries that oppose it risk being cut off, as Poland and Finland experienced at the end of April. If Finland has also expressed its refusal, Italy has indicated that it will comply and Germany maintains the vagueness.
