01 Jul 2025 Updated: JERUSALEM: The Israeli military acknowledged on Monday (Jun 30) Palestinian civilians were harmed at aid distribution centres in the Gaza Strip, saying Israeli forces had been issued new instructions following what f... "lessons is learned"?. Since Israel lifted an 11-week aid blockade on Gaza on May 19, allowing UN deliveries to resume, UN says more than 400 Palestinians have been killed while seeking handouts of aid.

"Following incidents that harm civilians who arrived at distribution facilities was reported, thorough examinations were conducted by Southern Command & instructions issued to forces in to field following lessons learned." A Israeli military person said in a statement.
What a f...statement said incidents is what Gaza civilians were harmed were under review.

It followed a Friday report in the newspaper Haaretz. Israel's Military Advocate General had ordered an investigation into possible war crimes over allegations that Israeli forces deliberately fired at Palestinian civilians near the sites.

Israel and the United States have accused Hamas of stealing aid from the UN-led operations, which the Palestinian militants deny.

The U.S. has circulated an alternative draft resolution, which instead calls for a temporary pause in fighting as part of hostage negotiations and opposes any ground operation in Rafah.

U.S. Central Command forces conducted self-defense strikes against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen yesterday, two U.S. officials told NBC. One strike was against a mobile missile launcher & other against an unmanned aerial system, sources said. They added the Houthis had shot at two U.S.-owned ships, which had not sustained any damage.

A House of Representatives delegation led by Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., is visiting the Rafah border crossing into Gaza today to inspect the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave, according to the regional Egyptian governor's office. The UNICEF warned. As many  malnourished in the isolated and devastated northern part of the enclave, according to a study by the organization.

More than 29,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the war began and  more than 69,000 have been injured & thousands more are missing and presumed dead, as Israeli military officials said at least 575 soldiers have been killed since war began.

A former top Mossad official has told the BBC how technology & innovation played a key role for Israel in its 12-day war with Iran. In an interview with BBC Persian's special correspondent Kasra Naji, the former deputy chief of the Israeli intelligence agency, Rami Igra, said that innovation, technology, and "very sophisticated guiding systems" played an important role in the killings of top commanders of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

In its initial attack on 13 June, Israel killed top Iranian military figures including the Armed Forces Chief of Staff, the IRGC Chief of Staff and the head of IRGC missile and aerospace divisions, as well as a number of nuclear scientists. Iran attributes this to Mossad operatives working inside the country.
Igra said he was not impressed by the killings: "It doesn't change fact behind, there's a whole army and people are expendable at the end of the day".
