He thought he was tech savvy enough not to be conned by scammers, but one 23-year-old lost more than S$300,000 in a jobs scam.

He's only 23.

And if he is a local, he's just ROD (or ORD as it is called now) 2 years ago.

And he has 300K to lose.

Again the same old tactics of greed and fear. $300k mainly from his family. Maybe quite rich family.

From this write-out and having read this, it is like the sunshine empire whereby members are asked to put-in as much capital as possible in order to get
higher interest payouts.  In the end, everything is gone.  Moral of the story: Never be greedy looking for easy money.

300k is not a small sum. Wonder how people manage to save so much.

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

You cannot do this. You hv to put in money first before you earned yr commission.
