Malaysia politicians and even civil servants don't get their riches from their mere salary... I think there had been reports of low ranking officers arrested for corruption in their residences with multiple luxurious cars and whatnots... Lol

Trump also didn't take salary, but he got himself paid in other ways. Don't trust people who say they will do things for free.
