.
How ignorance can CPF CEO be on Singapore dollars  interest rate trend?

Keeping OA interest @ 2.50% till 31 Dec 2022  is crazy

The best that CPF CEO can pay members OA interest is 2.50% pa.

CPF CEO has various good reasons to keep OA interest @ 2.50% till 31 December 2022.

If you wish to know the answer, please call CPF Board

When SWF, Temasek was making ROI 24.5% year 2020/2021 , no one questioned CPF OA @ 2.50% pa.

Many donkey years ago, SG Govt gaurantee base.floor OA rate @ 2.50% pa ....so, it wasn't done recently 2/3 years ago.

Last month was 2.5% vs 2.9%

Then became 2.5% vs 3.5%

Now 2.5% vs 4.1%

New year maybe 2.5% vs 4.5%?

I think CPF can close shop!

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

Instead of 5% the U.S. FED now plan to increase rate to 6-7%, so FD rates in Spore will go up further early next year, hopefully 5%
