Home Recovery: Postive
#1
Information

If you self-test at home and the result is positive, you stay at home to recover until you test negativeSmile

Don't need to report to anyone except maybe to your boss.   Shutup

After you test negative, don't go to the clinic to get a letter to certify you are clear of Covid. Some people don't know, they go to the clinic.   Nerd

If you go to the clinic, the doctor will conduct a PCR test. Positive. The doctor earns and you gain a 10 days quarantine order and test kits.  Surprised  Those staying together also get presents.  Gift_with_a_bow

Quote : Many diagnostic tests remain positive even weeks after patients have fully recovered. Experts now believe those tests are reacting to dead viral fragments still being cleared by the body, not to a live virus that can infect anyone else.
So to stop self-isolation and resume normal activities when you get a negative result will takes weeks if not months.

So far at least 1 Pfizer and 1 Moderna walk into this route. It means extra homestay. And burden for those staying at the same location.

Post-Covid loss of senses like smell and or taste maybe a tmp. affair.

What is a PCR test?

PCR means polymerase chain reaction. It’s a test to detect genetic material from a specific organism, such as a virus. The test detects the presence of a virus if you have the virus at the time of the test. The test could also detect fragments of the virus even after you are no longer infected.

After reading the discharge memo, it is also not bad to be infected. You can go anywhere within Singapore.

Nope. A few others.

Now, my friend told me, his business related said urgent need him to sign. When he told them he got Covid, that guy said not urgent any more.

When he got Covid, some of them also ran away. 1 lady called her husband to help him and he thanks her for all the helps rendered.

The plan is to get as many people to be infected as possible but in a controlled pace without overwhelming the health care system. This is towards endemicity, living with virus. So they ramp up the vaccination programme to protect you from falling seriously ill. Only the weak will succumb to the virus. The strong will survive. However, if the virus mutate with new deadly strain which the vaccine will not be effective than it is a "cause of concern". Having said that, the effect of the vaccine on our body system is still a grey area. Then there is a fear of suffering from long covid. So be prepared for waves of infection. Less cases than those projected may not be good news.

From these few days onwards, most of the cases will not be reported. These are all vaccinated.

Many of us are very confused with the signals and management and policies that have been sent and implemented. Unlike other countries like China, Taiwan, HK etc which is aiming for zero covid, our plan is to live with covid. Their economies are different from us. We depends on FT and the outside world to survive. The initial plan does not work as new strain are discovered and the vaccine does not protect you from catching the virus. Gone were the days when we are alarmed by 100+ cases and big clusters. Contact tracing and quarantine were the norm. This has drag for a long time. Many of us cannot stomach the fact that we will be infected soon or later. Some of us are hiding, some are hesitating to be vaccinated. We cannot wait but the virus can wait. When herd immunity kicks in maybe the chances of contracting the virus is minimal. Let others be the guinea pigs. There is no need to make vaccination mandatory but unvax people will be cornered.
Just my opinion.

If your throat itch
And your temperature exceeds
Then you better take out your ART kit
2 lines mean you are positive
I got covid
You become like a convict
72 hrs self-isolate until negative
Go to a SASH clinic
10 days self-isolate if PCR positive
