chines battery ev car maker, 5g looks like leading the world now. but tech world changed very fast one.

when hydrogen, green or grey become more economically available, world will change to hydrogen, fuel cell model for ev car.

5g has been talk about since y2k. western advance economy can easily put it in. but then there is development cost for 3g 4g lte .
these needs time to recover after the investment. now china rush in 5g in national scale. west no want them to lead so when 6g more ready they may just jump from 4g/lte to 6g. china will be stuck with 5g at least for 20 years to recover cost. then they will become old outdated technology. china hope then is diminishing return of 6g versus 5g.

by the way battery ev car are not really that green. they mostly used electricity supply by conventional gas/oil/coal power plant with thermal efficiency range from 40-60% . in addition the battery material process and disposal will all need more energy. the loonger range or bigger size vehicle will meant need to carry more battery so heavier dead weight to carry. does not make sense for trucks.
refuel time can be 1/2 hours to many depending on charging mode and how much to recharged. some car model is changing to replace battery pack at changing stations. around 5-10 min.

while petrol, hybrid has about 40% thermal efficiency..

hydrogen fuel cell ev, 40-60% depending on type. much lesser dead weight to carry and especially larger vehicle does not result in much weight increased compared to battery ev.
also low refuel time of about 5 min.
