Professional ==> Pofessional, program ==> pogram
2. Chocolate becomes cho-ke-lik
4. Notes becomes noks
5. Blanket becomes banket

It’s a shame they failed to speak proper English despite that they had been under British rule for 200 over years, frequently using Cantonese instead of English could be the cause

cb alot of sinkies also cannot speak proper english during colonial times and post colonial times. HK was only under british rule for 150 years. ham ka chan

Last time when I studied in Australia, I noticed schoolmates from HK were very quiet and never asked questions in the class, now I know why.

When I studied there I had 2 hk female school mates with similar course modules with me.  Quiet but very lazy.  And pretty.

They almost always used their feminine wiles to leech onto assessment assignments by those msian and angmoh students.  Never sinkies dunno why.

Think they still passed (barely) in the end because their assignment grades pulled them up but exams all failed Big Grin
