ST tends to copy and paste western media a lot especially for international news.

Western media have lost their credibility in news reporting, in recent years they tend to spread runmours and post fake news. If they dislike someone they will cook up a bad story or twist a story to make the person look bad. For example, early this year western media reported that Putin suffered from late stage cancer with a photo of Putin sitting there during a meeting with a blanket on his knees, guess what? a few months later, some western political specialist said Putin is in very good health. So it was an rumour and fake news published by western media, all lies. For the case of  China’s 20th Congress, 2 weeks before the Congress meeting, western media said there was a coup and Xi was removed, it turned out to be false. On the last day of the Congress, Hu was unwell and was escorted out to see a doctor, the western media said Hu was unhappy that his son Hu Chunhua was not in the list of the top leadership team and was simply removed by Xi. Why would Xi remove a powerless old man who has dementia and other health problems in front of world media? Hu Chunhua is not even Hu Jintao’s son as what western media reported. So how much can you trust western media? ST simply copied everything from them.
