How come in China some dialects like Hakka, Cantonese and Hokkien got many variation. Like Hakka dialect different city different villages the Hakka different. Same as Cantonese and Hokkien some places some city some villages their Cantonese or hokkien pronunciation not the same. How come they got so many types of Hakka, Cantonese or hokkien. Why huh.

Hakka I know since I'm Hakka!

Hakka was a group of people migrated from the Huang Ho river region to the south settling in various part of Guangdong including areas near Fujian - and as the Hakka settled in various areas that were far apart from each other they hardly mingle with each other - their only contacts are the locals of the areas - which then somewhat influence the way they speak - just like the Chinese in Malaysia Singapore and Taiwan speaking slight variation in Mandarin
