I recall that my first ever visit to CK Department Store was a big disappointment because I could not find any CK jeans, briefs or men's fragrance. LOL!

You must be born in the 1960s or 70s like me. I used to have dinner occasionally at the old Margaret Drive Hawker Centre with my parents and would stroll at Tah Chung Emporium after our meals as there were no large shopping malls nearby. I recall buying my first black and white panel football from there.

I remember the Overseas Union Bank (OUB) next door to Tah Chung. Do you recall a Margaret Drive Sin Kee Chicken Rice? It is now at 40 Holland Drive #01-39, Stall #5.

The holland sin Kee is no longer nice. It is run by China nationals.

There was a Shanghainese dumpling stall from the old Margaret Drive Food Centre called Tong Xin Ju Special Shanghai Tim Sum which is now at Maxwell Food Centre. I like their fried and boiled dumplings made by hand daily. The dumplings are fresh from the stove, but the waiting time is extremely long.
