Reading this thread made me think of 2 of my friends. Both are JW. 1 was my ex JC mate who completely refused to “bear arms” and went behind bars for 3 years.
The other was my BMT platoon mate who went through training with us but always carrying a wooden rifle. He passed out and went on to be a clerk nco service side.
