those are air roots. can just ignore them and let them grow, or cut away if too unsightly, or cut the stems with these root and let them root in water, or root in soil and grow as new plants

money plant does not hv a strong stem so it tends to hang, crawl and cling

But put in water, do we need to change water every week?

2 to 4 weeks to is ok. mainly to check for mozzies and replace fresh water with oxygen. can add a few drop of liquid ferterlizer if there are roots
