Sifu listed down his conditions.
1. No copy trading. You can see but you cannot trade with real money.
2. You can only see trade executed and closed. You cannot see the algo coding behind the trades.
3. You have only 1 chance to see my trading in action. I can't be letting you see it anytime you wanted.
That is all. He smiled.
Huh... I thought it is going to be alot of conditions. I smiled.
You will be surprised when you see how my system trade. He smiled.
With that, we have made an appointment on one of the weekdays to meet up in starbucks at 8am.
Bring along your notebook. We will use your notebook to trade and you can setup your own system to monitor my trades. Also, we will enjoy our breakfast there. He added.
Cool. I agreed.

Date: 31 Jan.
The day I get to see the live trading in action. Wow.... I was up and early with my fully charged notebook and waiting for my sifu at starbucks.
Sifu arrived at 8.00am. He helped me order my coffee and breakfast while I switch on my notebook and connect to the wifi.
Then he log in to his broker account and showed me the trading platform. He pointed where to see the orders executed and when they are closed. He showed me his watchlist and how to go to the different trading panels etc. Lastly, he showed me how to pull out the charts and the various technical indicators I can use.
All this time, I was paying full attention. I was trying to see if I can setup my usual trading parameters to try to find out how does sifu trading system work.
Sifu finished his explanation in 15 min and told me to play with his broker platform. He says he will not need to see his trades at all and I can do what I want to setup my charts or analysis.
For the next 30 min, I went to familarise myself on the platform. I looked at his watchlist, just a few indices. I look at his charts. There is nothing on the charts, no technical indicators, no moving averages, no volume indicator transactions etc.
This is the first time, I am looking at intraday futures trading on indices. I was like a young boy in a candy store, eager to dip my hands into all the possibilities in trading. Imagining the daily profits that will be rolling into my bank account and sipping my latte in starbucks while relaxing.

Relax. Sifu told me as he drink his coffee and eat his breakfast. He pointed to my breakfast and coffee which was left untouched.
It was then that I had realised I must have forgotten about my breakfast. I took a quick bite and drink a bit of the coffee.
Oh... don't disturb me, even if my trades are executed. He replied. I will be watching squid game on netflix.
Sifu was looking at his tablet. He has took out his earphones and plug it in. We should be done by lunch. He smiled.
My eyes are peeled watching the market movements. I am taking notes of their movement and mentally thinking if I had gone long would I have made money. There is just too much to take in. I had setup my trading parameters on his charts, but they are not giving any signals at all. Overall, it appears to be going up from the moving averages.
Sifu has totally immersed himself watching the show from the tablet. He has finished his breakfast and is now enjoying his coffee.
Time: 9.00am. No trades executed.
I am still very excited. Putting in new indicators and testing them to see, if they showed me any signals. Previously, I did see sifu system has traded between 9.00am to 10.00am from his past trades. I am waiting for them to show up.
Time 10.00am. No trades executed
I begin to calm down. Market did not move as much. Perhaps it was during mid day in aussie market. On the hand, hangsheng starts trading and I see it move fast. Sifu mentioned to me before, he don't trade hangsheng or china markets, so he tell me don't pay too much attention on it.
Time 11.00am.
I begin to get tired. 2 hours of watching the market and not seeing any trades left me exhausted. Sifu was still looking relax and smiling to himself as he watched his show.
Then at 11.12am the trading platform sounded. A pop up message box showed there is a trade executed. It had went long on the aussie market. I frantically pull up the aussie chart. I did not see anything on the chart. No trading signals, no indicators, no trades shown. Then I check the orders executed. Yep, it is there. Indeed, sifu algo trades did not use charts to trade. A short while later, another pop up came up. Trade position closed. Profit reported.
Just as I was figuring what had happened, sifu interrupted me.
Hmm... looks like we are done for the day. He smiled. He had seen my excitement on my face and saw the pop up message in the computer.
Anyway, we have stayed too long in starbucks. He told me. It is better we move out and let other customers enjoy their coffee here.
With that, he logged out of the broker platform, we shut down the computer and we headed for the exit.
My mind had gone blank. I am at loss of words. I don't even know what to ask sifu. It seems surreal. Sifu had just clocked in another trading profit, showing his 99% win rate is no fluke. He was living my dream of trading for a living.
Enjoy your chinese new year eve dinner. Don't think too much. Sifu smiled as we parted ways.

Indeed 99% win rate, in fact 100%, for the day, no loss
Profits peanuts again? US$12?
Just enough to cover coffee plus taxi, well done!
BTW, when I was a Simex local, I traded TIMSCI with TT X-Trader
No need algo, all manual trades, entered before the market opens
I remember one day, when TIMSCI open, my floating P&L up by around $100K but when I managed to close all my trades a few mins later, my realized profits only around $50K because the market was very volatile that day
I followed Kathy's Twitter and watched her YouTube weeks ago and now share with you here:
I fully agreed with what Kathy said in the video and her high accuracy trading strategy.
Jac, what trader are you? A high accuracy or high probability trader? I vaguely remember you were the latter....

Amazing, you registered another string of wins. I told sifu.
You are there to witness the first win. Sifu smiled. Tell me what you learn.
What I learn is that I need to relearn whatever I know. I told him. I have used whatever trading knowledge I know and I still cannot figure out how you do it.
Whatever I programmed in my trading algo, starts from having able to trade it manually. Sifu explained. It is easier to trade manually first. After that I wrote an algo to perform exactly how I trade manually.
You don't need a computer scientist to write that program. He laughed.
I can see your system traded all the way into the evening. I added. All posting profits after profits.
I am afraid our lessons will end soon. Sifu told me.
Why? I asked. I had barely started.
I have taught you almost everything I know. Even provided you with a live trading session. He explained.
You will do better on you own. He laughed.

I have summarise sifu trading rules
1) Always respect risks.
2) Don't forget rule 1.
3) Take care of losses and the profit take care of itself.
4) Trade only when you have an edge.
5) You are what you trade. Everyone trade differently, don't expect your trading method is the best to impart to another person.
6) Question everything. Don't believe anything you see or hear until you have prove it for yourself.
7) Work on what you want to achieve. There is no one teacher who will be able to teach you everything.
8) You are your best teacher.

As sifu looks through the trading rules, he appears to be in deep thought.
What is it? I asked him.
These trading rules looks good, but it is missing a spark. Something to intrigue and inspire you to work on it. You mentioned you don't know where to start. I have spent much time to think about it. He answered.
This would very well be my final lesson to you. He added.

In trading, we want profits. But to achieve profits, we need to get our fundaments right. So let me give you an impossible puzzle to solve. Solve this puzzle and you will achieve the same success as I did. However, just like my 5th trading rule, it does not mean you have to trade the same way as I did. He smiled.
Sifu shared the puzzle here.
In trading, there are only 3 directions a trade will go after you enter a trade.
1) Up
2) Sideways
3) Down
Assuming each direction has the same probabilities. Which means
1) Up: 33.33%
2) Sideways: 33.33%
3) Down 33.33%
Adding them up and rounding it up would give you 100%.
Now you have witness my trading system in action. It has consistently make profits. My trading system can enter at anytime and can trade long or short. How is it that it can make close to 100% win rate given the market can move any direction? Sifu asked me.
Hmm.... if I go long (i.e I want the market to go up) and the market goes down or sideways, my win rate is only 33.33%. I reasoned. But if I want above 90% win rate.....wait how is it possible?
Agreed. This is the puzzle which I hoped will intrigue you and inspire you to trade better. He smiled.
It does look like an impossible puzzle. But sifu trading records of consistent profits showed it can be done. I wondered. How did sifu solve this puzzle?
I told him, I will work on it.
Good. Until you succeed, then we shall meet again. Sifu bid farewell.
As I see sifu leave, I would like to bid farewell to fellow sgtalk readers as well.
Thank you for your company and participation. I have enjoyed writing my stories here. Hopefully, you have learn something useful to make your trading better.
Goodbye and best wishes to everyone.

I started using
axiom trading bot a few months back after struggling to manage trades emotionally. It helps me keep to my strategy without second-guessing. I still track everything myself and make tweaks, but the bot helps take out a lot of the stress and random decisions. It's not magic, but it's been useful for keeping things consistent, especially during sideways markets where I usually messed up trades before.

No such thing as sure win unless you are the big boy or market maker
