Huawei is making a strategic move by approaching non-Chinese car makers -especially the established German brands.
1st Both Mercs and Audi already have plants in China for may years and China is one of their major market.
So technical integration will be easier
2nd Huawei autonomous driving system already deployed and sold under several major Chinese car brands - So the system is proven and will get even better with real world consumer experience.

Huawei self driving and parking system.
It will look for the next available slot and self park.
Driven can use his HP then "summon" the vehicle from the lot and drive to "fetch" the waiting driven
