There seem to be no restrictions on income ceiling or pte property.
Strange. There is no announcement about pte property owners can buy hdb.

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

Go read the news properly. He already off load and cash out all his properties. Previously he was renting in Penang. Think he already waited out the required time before buying HDB. Smart move

Resale flat back in the old days (some 15-20 years ago) single above 33 years old with your income not more than $5K, you can purchase a HDB with full grant but has to take loan from private bank.
With the above conditions and you stay closed or nearby your next of kin within a parameter of 2 km you will be able to get additional $20K grant.
If you’re married than you’re allow to purchase any resales flat or new development, with grant from HDB. But you’re to take loans from private bank.
I am not sure what is the conditions now.

Well, if PR who never served a single day of NS can buy HDB, then what make him not entitle to buy HDB?
If your point if HDB is only for sinkie without pte properties, then you are welcome to state your point when there is a thread debating about our damned HDB policies..
