President Moon has agreed to release the last President Park from jail with their yearly clemency which is given by the current President.

The reason that the Korean administration is releasing President Park is because her health are deteriorating. The administration will also release the last Premier too according to the news report.

Both Pres. Chun and Roh are Veteran Military personnel. Both were convicted for treason and mutiny, violent crackdown of Gwangju protest and corruptions.
During those period in the 70s to 90s, protests were widespread throughout S.Korea led by Union Leaders, Students and working class. Presidents during those chaotic period includes Chun Do Hwan, Roh Tae Woo, Kim Young Sam and Kim Dae Jung. All 4 Presidents have uplorry.

Only one reason and that is because all the Presidents came into power with big funds from big corrupted sponsors. After they become Presidents these corrupted sponsors made used of the Presidents to secure big projects and deliver substandard products.

So once the President lose power, all the crooks take cover and the Presidents have to take all the blame. This is another type of democracy........ Rolleyes

I think so she will get jailed after she is out of the office. Because during her current position she is exempt from any legal suits according to the Taiwanese constitution law.

And more evidence are floating from LSE to show that she did not have her thesis submitted….so with the on going suits against this case, by the time she is out of office she will need to attend all the court proceedings.

Professor Peng is not letting her off, based on the Taiwanese news.
