Malaysia is not like Singapore. JB is considered outside the Capital. Most of the places no light at night, especially rural areas. Only town areas have traffic lights. Other than that, no lights on the road.

It seems you have a taste of Msia rural life. Can add one more you patronize their small shops please bring small change if you early in the morning visit.

I am 1st on the Que for breakfast. By the time I left, the place was full of people. Don’t like to fight with people.

Some of their food depends what you eat is ownself scoop one. Say beehoon you can kiap alot then hide some  expensive dish underneath and put some cheaper dish on top of bee hoon and let the cashier count. Unlikely cashier use fork or spoon to flip the beehoon see underneath got dish or not. I never do that but then it happens becuz news from my spouse family news hehehe. Rural ppl also got their stories to tell.
