Okay this guy keep appearing on YouTube ads marketing his course. I was curious to know why these marketers spend so much on ads and how they make money.

The preview is the usual mumbo jumbo to convince you he has a system that can generate trading profits plus testimonies of many students who "made it" quit their jobs became successful full time traders. It also  feature Joe Augustin  who was a DJ but now a "successful trader" recommending Colin Seow course...Colin claimed he did not pay Augustin to recommend his course.

More selling testimonies from...house wife who now trades, retrenched person who now trades and no longer worries about money and checking price tags at super market when she buy things. Anyone can be a successful traders ..knowing nothing before the course.

His system consists of "TraderGPS which indicates when to buy or sell a stock. It free for 6 months but after that you need to pay for subscription $800 per year. So probably keep paying to use their system.

I can't comment on whether the system works ...most don't and those that do may just work for a while...

So after all the marketing promises and lure....comes the closing

Course is 3K...about 15 people.sign up.
That is $45K.....each time he conducts the course.

These courses are a lucrative  business that's why they pay so much for online marketing to lure gullible people to attend...

If so good why can't he keep to himself and keep making bug money? Why tell others your kung fu or secret recipe?

Out of so many students bound to have one or two successful one and he will boost on this few successful one.

I went to check out Colin seow claim that ex DJ Joe Augustin is now a "trader". Turns out to be true.

I thought he is quite old already should be retired rather than making risky trades.

This is one of his trades ...and he made a beginner error of putting a trade in before  major announcement and lost big.

Really hope he knows what he is doing. Trading and DJing is 2 different worlds.

So long as they are not asking for money any sharingbis okay one is free to disagree.

As for performance it is difficult to assess for short term because many traders have "hot run" then fade. ..and many genuinely think they can trade until their "system" or method break down.

Colin Seow send out a buy recommendation this morning.
It's called Thane Technologies...he says "this is a resilent stock recommended by his system"

The stock I would say is not bad fundamentally......
