I expect S'pore govt will deepen and broaden the CECA to increase its benefits
#1

Over the past few months the govt has put out statistics  and arguments to prove Singaporeans have greatly benefitted from CECA.

It is their strong belief that the CECA has benefitted Singaporeans and is a step in the right direction.

It was also explained to Singaporeans that they have to be open and accept globalisation as this is beneficial to them.

To quell the racial undertones by those who are against CECA a racial harmony act to quell such negative opposition to CECA.

With all the above,  and if the govt truly honestly and sincerely believe its own words, the next logical step would be to broaden and deepen the CECA agreement so that these benefits can increase and be sustained.

You date a girl once a week...
..when you marry her your relationship is broader and deeper

I think Mr LHL lost the trust that LKY earned.

The only way seems to be reducing CECA and their families.

I only notice CNA likes to interview South Asians.

Maybe that is why I seldom watch their program nowadays. Rolleyes

Now, they twist and turn to say we must not turn our backs on Foreigners, when actually it is CECA causing the rift in our society.

Yes, Singapore needs to import Education Minister or IT Minister from India to create IT jobs for Singaporeans .

It should be ….. when foreigners come into this red dot , they should integrate into our society, not we integrate into theirs.

Of course. Since that day when Chan Chun Sing said IT Quota has been set at 3,100 per year, it is driven me high. That is why we ended up importing 45,000 CECA every year.

Why deprive locals for a job, or for a Future? I find their decision amd action truly a suicide pact.
