‘I’m going on a business trip tomorrow,’ was a phrase my brother and I knew by heart growing up. My dad worked as an engineer*, and he was away for work a lot.

Because of that, we never had a good or bad relationship – I just didn’t really know him.

But his marriage with my mum had always been strained, and I couldn’t help but wonder why they got together.

i can feel you. it must be so painful to find out the other side of your dad and burdensome to keep it away from your mom. Expose him, he doesn't deserve any love from your mom. Always stand with your mom no matter what, prove him that your mom raised wonderful kids.

My grandma was a tangki so I am very qualified to tell u.

These are spirits and not gods . They are able to attach to any weak moving animate objects including animals.

There are millions of them out there, if the tangki dun guard their body properly any one spirit can attach to them.

There are many bad tangki out there, so most spirits attached to them are evil ones. The evil spirits are very jealous of human beings because they cannot become like us. So the only way is to attach to a tangki and pretend to be a god.

Dun associate yourself to anyone you think is a good one. 

Because since I was a child, I had seen my grandma tong tong cheng or tangki for over 30 years. Yes, I watched her into a tangki trance with my third eye ( They called it the heavenly eye ); So I can see what spirit that is attaching.

Go to proper religion places like a church or buddhist or ah neh temples instead if u need help. These have gods or angels guarding the places, not spirits.

Note: Spirits are not dead human souls, they are not even ghosts. It sounds like your parents had a rough relationship. It’s tough when you see someone you care about being treated poorly. I grew up with a similar situation, where my dad was away a lot for work, and it created distance between us. It’s hard to see someone like your mom, who sounds so loving, not getting the respect and care she deserves. Sometimes people stick together for reasons that are hard to understand, and it can be really painful to watch. I hope your mom is doing better now.
