I do not use that. I use my watch to note the timing per round and when I completed enough rounds, then a pen and paper to record. The route is fixed. I use my car to measure the distance. I do not like computer stuff. I like greeneries and nature.

Then it is considered very very good timing. My knees are now broken, can't run much.

If your knee is cartilage wear out, try taking glucosamine 1500mg twice a day. I recovered from taking that. If yours is ligament issue, I heard cannot recover.

I use my car to measure the distance. My friend use some GPS apps, his timing always surprisingly fast although he is not so fit. So I suspect the apps is not accurate. I do not like high tech. I am a caveman.

As I told you, I think they are not accurate la. Use SAF method. Measure route with a vehicle. The run that route.

That's very good timing. I think more than 10 years ago I ran that kind of timing. Now run 500m also cannot... Lol

Bro, How to tell whether it is cartilage wear or ligament issue?

I am not exactly sure. For ligaments which is the connective tissue at the ends of a muscles, the symptoms could be different. Can see a doctor to confirm. My friend is that cat, he said doc said he will not recover.

For cartilage, there is research on rugby players when they take like 3000mg to 4000mg glucosamine a day. There is a metabolite for cartilage degradation found to decrease. When they discontinue the supplementation, the metabolite increases again.

I think only using a device like polar that has a sensor that feels like a bra can measure heart rate accurately. Other than that, you just need to measure your pulse on your wrist during rest for testing heart rate to dictate your cardiovascular fitness level.

I also like to do bench press and pull up so that I can look like a caveman.
